General contracting across Oakville and the GTA

A renovation with more than one or two trades involved needs someone keeping the sequence straight — framer before electrician, electrician before insulation, insulation before drywall. That's the job.

One schedule, not five

We build the sequence so trades aren't tripping over each other, and so nobody shows up to a job site that isn't ready for them yet.

Permit and inspection handling

We submit drawings, book inspections and stand there when the inspector shows up, so a failed inspection doesn't sit unresolved for weeks.

Budget tracking you can actually read

You get a clear breakdown of what's spent and what's left, not a lump number that changes every time you ask.

Older home realities

Multi-trade work on a pre-1990s GTA home often uncovers outdated wiring or plumbing that needs addressing mid-project. We build contingency into the plan for that.

The problem

Managing your own trades usually costs more time than it saves in money

Hiring each trade separately can look cheaper on paper, but someone has to schedule them in the right order, resolve disputes when one trade's work affects another, and be on-site for every inspection. That job usually falls to the homeowner, and it eats evenings and weekends for months.

Our solution

We carry the coordination so you carry your own schedule

As general contractor, we own the sequencing, the trade relationships and the inspection bookings. If the plumber's rough-in runs long, that's our problem to solve, not a phone call you have to make from work. You get one point of contact and regular email updates instead of five different numbers to track.

How It Works

How we run a general contracting project

Five stages from scope to final sign-off.

  1. 1

    Scope & drawings

We define the full project scope and prepare or coordinate any drawings needed for permit submission.

  2. 2

    Permit submission

Applications go in and we track review timelines with the municipality on your behalf.

  3. 3

    Trade scheduling

We book and sequence subcontractors so the project moves in the right order without dead time.

  4. 4

    On-site inspections

We coordinate and attend required inspections at each stage of the build.

  5. 5

    Final walkthrough & close-out

We confirm final inspection sign-off and walk the finished project with you before calling it complete.

Why homeowners hand us the whole project

Coordination is the job, and we don't outsource it.

Licensed & Insured

Full general contractor coverage across the entire scope of a multi-trade project.

Realistic Sequencing

We build schedules around how long inspections and trade lead times actually take in the GTA.

Straight Budget Talk

If a scope change affects cost, you hear about it before it happens, not on the final invoice.

Built for This Region

We know the permit process and inspection expectations across Halton, Peel, York, Durham and Toronto.

Site Discipline

One trade's mess doesn't become the next trade's problem — we manage cleanup between stages.

Hands-On Trade Knowledge

We've swung the hammer ourselves, so we know when a trade's estimate doesn't add up.

General contracting questions

What size of project needs a general contractor?

Anything involving more than two trades — say, an addition with framing, electrical, plumbing and drywall — usually benefits from having one contractor manage the sequence.

Do you use your own trades or can I bring my own?

We generally work with subcontractors we've vetted on past GTA projects, but we're open to discussing specific trades you'd like involved.

Who deals with the municipality for permits?

We do. Applications, drawings and inspection bookings are handled by us as part of the general contracting scope.

How do you handle delays from one trade affecting another?

We build buffer into the schedule and communicate delays as soon as we know about them, so downstream trades aren't caught off guard.

Can you manage a project that's already underway with other trades?

In some cases, yes. Email us the current status and we'll assess whether taking over mid-project makes sense.

Let us manage the moving parts

Email your project scope and we'll tell you honestly whether general contracting is the right fit.
